He is risen.

So the poem I scheduled for yesterday morning didn’t go out, but it gives me an opportunity to wish you a Happy Easter! He is risen, friends.

And if you’d like, you can read that poem here.

I think if there were ever a quote to best define my purpose in life, it’s this one.

“Being a Christian isn’t what most think it is—all rules and regulations.” She clinked her glass with the red lipstick stain on the rim against mine. “It is all trust and surrender and transformation, at its best.”

As I move forward as a writer (and human being), my aim is to share what Scripture truly says about Jesus and untangle the lies man has created to fit Jesus neatly in a box (not to mention those who desire to follow Him).

In that Spirit, the seeds have been planted in my mind and heart for The Perfect 10: How & Why God’s Commandments Still Apply in the 21st Century (you’ll be able to find the initial version of that book here once I start writing it.)

I pray it transforms and heals the wrong ideas about what following Jesus means in this world.

A few writing updates…

I’ve been meaning to redesign the covers for The Art of Renewing Your Mind and Write Your Story!, and finally got around to it.

You can check them out here and here.

Lastly, I give an explanation of what my writing space will look like moving forward. You can read that here.

Prayers for you as the Spirit moves in your life, leading you even closer to our Lord and King.
